I love the Newegg shopping site. So easy to use. I'll play with different configurations. Lowest price, highest price, size. My favorite come out to about $2200. This is still way too high for enthusiasts I suppose. That $4000 undoubtedly includes a lot of necessary labor.

Alienware have always been a ripoff. Buying jacked gaming rigs doesn't make a lot of sense given how quickly the technology changes. Might not be bad though as a 4K edit station using CUDA video encoding. Priced similar to the MacPro.

Well, if you think about it, the MSRPs of the 5960x and Titan X's are $1000 each. So if you could sell them all off at that price (good luck!) you'd have most of the guts of a computer for free!
