Found some old MREs in my basement

Cheese tortellini is the best. They should be ok. I don't remember how to date them, but a Google search should turn up some info. If they've been kept cool, they'll last well past the marked date.

They've just been on a shelf in a cool basement for 3 years, so I guess they should be ok.

MREs aren't great, but they aren't bad either. From my experience eating chicken tortellini I'd say the cheese tort is probably okay.

What are you talking about? MREs are delicious :^)

I seriously love them. A lot of it's the novelty of having hot food that comes in a bag, but generally the foods pretty good too. Super high calorie. You get fat if you eat too many without exercise.

I seriously love them. A lot of it's the novelty of having hot food that comes in a bag, but generally the foods pretty good too. Super high calorie. You get fat if you eat too many without exercise.

That's not a problem for active duty service members ;)
