Found questionable reading material in the kids bathroom

I was in the bathroom at my sisters today and opened one of the cabinet drawers looking for a hairbrush. Much to my suprise, I found "101 sexual positions"... a book that used to live at my house.

My boys are 11 and 9 and hers is 8.... No wonder they keep making all those 20-minute trips to the bathroom after school.

We decided the way to handle it was to leave them a note... Today when they go looking for the book all they will find is a note saying..

"You got Busted!" -Mom

So, what would you do or have you done in a similar situation?

Woah, 11 and 9? At that age all I really cared about was sports.. Once I discovered Hustler at 12 things changed fast 🙂

My mom found a huge stash under my bed and let me keep them, however my dad later found the magazines sitting around in my room and threw them away 🙁

At that age, they are just curious. If you take their pr0n in a couple of years, you're just mean. Just remember that it's natural and look the other way.

He didn't throw them away. Oh, and your dog isn't living at a farm in Wisconsin.

I'm not sure I like 'Busted' for what is actual normal and healthy sexual curosity. If you make it something they get in trouble for (IMHO) they will be even more curious. I would probably leave a note more to the fact of we should sit down and talk before I find you with something like this again... Then, sit down and talk with them about it. Why they took it, and why you aren't comfortable with them having it at their age.

My 2 cents.

Agreed. My dad didn't care if I looked at porn on hte Internet when I was 13 or so.. and I'm fine..

But, there was a kid in my class who's mom took his Playboys.. Boom.. he's a child molester.

"We need to talk! - Mom"

My friend's dad used to keep Playboy in their bathroom. One day I noticed the centerfold seemed to have been torn out. The next day the magazine was gone and never returned. Apparently someone was doing more than reading the articles!

What they got busted for was transporting this book from my house to my sisters house and involving their 8-year-old cousin. My kids and I have a very open relationship as far as discussing sex goes.... I just feel bad that they got my sisters kid involved. My sister and I were cracking up....were not mad. But Still, I cant wait to see the looks on their faces today when they hit the bathroom... I know... Im just mean.

Even meaner: Walk in on them!

You oughta put half-naked pictures of you and your sister in there. That should pretty well scar them for life. 😉
