FOUND Please help me figure out the name of a movie.

I think it takes place in Africa somewhere.

There is this girl and ivory smugglers kill her parents blow up her home etc. There is a guy who is there also who helps her and a tribesman that helps them.

They blow up this huge illegal ivory storage house at the end.

They have to cross this desert to survive, but almost don't make it and I remember a birdcage at the end.

EDIT: I saw it when I was 10-11 maybe, I liked the girl in the movie back then.

I was 11 when I saw it, I don?t know if I would think it was still good now, I was just wondering who the girl was in it. I was wondering if I still would think the girl was cute 14 years later. Heh
