Everyone wants to be your friend (or say they are) once you become successful and start making money.

I'm actually friends with a kid, "Bear" (his nickname) from HS who played Football. He got a full ride to my Uni (Michigan State) and then got drafted to the Miami Dolphins. All of a sudden, people wanna add him on Facebook so they can keep in touch.

Why? You wanna come chill at his crib now that he's making money?


That's not how it works people. You be nice to everyone, try to be as friendly as possible and just maybe...it won't bite you in the ass after you leave grade school.

Then, you can be happy to say you're REALLY friends with someone successful instead of being the person that's like "HEY, REMEMBER ME?" when you run into them one day.

Random necrobump for this dude being kinda funny. Was just on Conan. I started seeing links for the 'Wolverine is fired' thing (funny) and the Batman spoofs (varies from 'meh' to occasional hilarity). Only just now realized who the hell Pete Holmes is.

I've seen the ads for his show, I think. And I wrote it off as awful. But these things show some promise.
