found modems, which one should i buy?

i found a lucent modem for $17 and the zoom one is $25. they are both v.92 pci. which should i get? is there any diff since they are on the same chipset?

I say go wiht the Lucent chances are that if you aver want to try Linux you can get the drivers/modules/whatever to use it. www.linmodems.org

Yes, they're both based on the Lucent (Agere) chipset.....so go for the least
expensive..........I've got 2 Lucents now and both work fine.......Greg
