It was this really old show I used to watch in the early eighties that looked like it was made as early as the 70s. It has combining tanks etc. that form a mega soldier like Voltron, only the show isn't a cartoon--it's a like that old show Thunderbirds where they use "marionettes/puppets" for the main characters. There may be another show with a similar description where they had a base like on earth and these laser type weapons that were attached to their their wrists. I believe the enemies bled green blood, and their combiners linked up in space. 😕

It's not a cartoon. No animation. styrafoam was the closest with his post. And no, it's not Family Ties amcdonald--thanks for your thoughtful help. lol

Are you for real? lol. I said it was something I watched back in the EARLY 80s which looked like it was made in the 70s. styrafoam is pretty much on the mark in narrowing it down. It did have the same concept of combining units like Voltron and power rangers.

WOOT!! You found one of the shows I was looking for!! TerraHawks is the name of one of them. Thanks man--awe, memories. I'm still looking through that site and it's links to the Voltron-like marionette show. Appreciate any other info you might have. Thanks again SKORPIO!

I remember watching these in B&W. Laughed when their mouths did not match what they were saying.
One of my favorite cartoons late 60's was Gigantor.

AWESOME LINK Skorpio!! Thanks. Through their links to other sites, I found the 2nd show: Starfleet/X-Bomber !!! Freaking awesome show. So many memories. I gave you a 10 on your rating! Hehe. 😀
