I'm planning to transfer my DSL to another location, will they charge me cancellation fees?

I thought it was free, just took two weeks, but my neighbor says they'll charge me the cancelation fee for it.

Anyone do this before? How long did it take?
 
Not sure about Pac Bell, but Speakeasy doesn't charge for the same function. All they care about is that their DSL is available at the new location.
 
Hrm...found the answer, thanks though.

It says they won't charge me for it, but they must make sure it is available in the area first, and may take a couple weeks.
