Okay, I have a folder for random stuff I need and I opened it today and there are about 200 files that have random 4 digit codes, they're Quickfinder Information Files. An example of one is STD0. Can I delete these or are they important system files? There are also 4 DAT files I've never seen...delete or not?

They're in a folder I made called My Stuff, I really have no idea how they got there, I think I will delete them, I hope they aren't important..

It should be safe and don't enpty the Recycle bin for a few days so that you can reallocate them if you find out what they are for.
