I was digging through my old hardware and found a USB cuecat Model # 68-1966.

I have read somewhere that youcan use it to catalog your CDs and DVDs. What is available to help me do this? I want to be able to scan the barcode on my CDs and DVDs and have it generate a listing of the titles.

Example I scan Jimmy Buffet CD, it reads the bar code then goes to the web, locates the title of the CD, as well as tracks, and any other information. This informationis then put into a spreadsheet or database on my system.

Any help out there?

I tried checking for Cue Cat threads over at DVDTalk.com but apparently "cue cat" is too short of a word for their search engine

Ok, I have downloaded the software, now, how do I get the catnip to function with the dvd profiler software? Also will this catalog my CDs?

DVD Profiler only maintains a db of DVD UPC codes.
I haven't used Catnip in awhile so I don't remember the specifics....try some searches at DVDTalk...
