This is basically the next best alternative to a Logitech Harmony remote. I wanted a simple remote for my living room TV that supported Roku, which is surprisingly hard to find. This one did the trick. I have a 60" Mitsubishi DLP, a Cox Mini Cable Box, and a Roku 3. I set the A button to the TV & left the D button for the Roku. On the A setting for the TV, I had it learn the channel up & down buttons for the cable box (surprisingly, the mini cable box didn't have a remote code anyway). For the Roku, I had it pass through the input & volume buttons. The remote has a good weight to it & a nice texture. IR repeaters & extenders are also available, as well as a USB IR receiver: (FLIRC alternative; internal & external adapters available)

That adapter supports MCE, Hulu, XBMC, MythTV, LinuxMCE, Cinemar, SageTV, Beyond TV, MediaPortal, etc. Great support, great price, great accessories. I'm happy

I bought that remote last summer. It was a great remote while it worked. Came home one day and it was completely dead.

I switched from a harmony touch and one due to their delay issues with HTPC. Love the r,one, but they have horrible lag in WMC and Kodi.

Dang, how long did it last? Did you contact the manufacturer about the warranty? I like mine so much I'm ordering a couple more!

That remote caught my eye as a replacement for my current (and ancient) Radio Shack 15-1994. But it still works with everything I need it to and is solid enough to subdue a burglar.

It lasted maybe 8 months. I contacted the company and they had great customer service and set up an RMA. I have yet to send it back, but I need to this week. Hopefully the next one last much longer. It is a great remote for how cheap it is.
