Found a download site for SB Live! Live Ware/Driver CD

I own 5 of Creative's Live! series cards. I do not own a single driver CD. I used to, but I tossed them, since I like to download every driver I need from the internet whenever I (re)install things to keep up-to-date on drivers. Unfortunately, Creative's new policy of not having Live!Ware available to download -- and their policy on not support Value cards in Win2k/XP -- are hindering my ability to function.

I assume that because I own 5 of their cards, it is in no violation of copyright law to send me an .iso or something of the driver CD. If I am incorrect, please correct me promptly before I or someone else gets in trouble.

I'm looking to download a .iso of the Live!Ware 3 CD via AIM (or something else I can do through my school's NAT). In exchange, I'll happily allow access to my "Media Server" with about 200GB's of. . .stuff! My school normally cuts our upstream bandwidth, but they turned off the limit for winter break.

Thank you! ^_^

EDIT: Hurrah! Download site for Live!Ware! Thanks for the tip, Tharyn. 🙂

Just about all you need is available at M3D Zone just goto the Files > Soundcards section, has all the latest LiveWare etc.. including that for XP.

Creative is "making the transition" from downloadable Live!Ware to a driver CD. They have not completed it, and they have no CD available for me 🙁

I'm not in favor of waiting months until they release it. Alternately, I could go to the store and BUY an SBLive to get the driver CD, but that seems.. excessive. I don't need another sound card, and it's pretty selfish to buy something with the intent of returning it.

I have the same problem...

I do believe I have the original CD that came with my SB Live! 5.1 Plat. around here somewhere but my 56K dialup connection wouldn't interest you much 🙂

I could accidently copy this CD to one of the computers at school and set up a webserver accidently and maybe accidently mail you its static IP but the school's T1 line is pretty saturated during the day and at night the computers are shut off remotely...

I'v got Liveware 3.0 full.

28.8 MB (30,280,661 bytes)

lw30full_9x.zip

You got Instant Messaging??

EDIT:

I don't think drivers are a part of Liveware though.

You can find drivers here.
