The MC68 was a rockin chip...we spent alot of class time playin with a different version the MC68HC11. It's a microcontroller, used in many many things.

That's a rather unusual packaging for that chip. I have a half dozen 68020's myself, mostly in ceramic and plastic - I have NFI what the fvck kind of packaging that is.

OH, haha, that's a paperweight with a 68020 core inside it 😕

Anyway, the 68020 is still in production and is used in the TI-89 IIRC.
