Look at the pictures for clues. House address, license plate, daycare center...

Post the pics on craigslist personals and ask if anyone knows these people.

Haha this is hilarious. Some random family just got their pictures posted... Although with the advent of facebook, this is probably expected anyways.

work this from where you found it. If you post "found at xxx", somebody who is looking will have the best chance of searching for those terms.

google images maybe? See if those photos pop up anywhere else on the internet and go from there. That's assuming those pictures were uploaded prior to being lost.

Take pictures of your junk.

Try not to smirk when you return the camera.

why did you post these as gifs?

do the original images have EXIF data that contains GPS data or anything like that?

like the 1st image as gif, 256 colors didn't work too well for guy's face, he looks like he's sick, but it worked great for the wife (makeup = one color)...

edit. also wife is elbowy :D

as suggested previously, if the camera has gps, exif on a recent "home" pic would be good to check
there are several web based exif viewers

facebook has a lost and found camera page

1st google search for lost found camera

you could always take it to the local PD, if you arent going to go through all the pics to look for a clue.

the 3rd pic has 'REIGN MAKERS' on the dad's t-shirt. the company is a custom motivational t-shirt maker. given that there is no visible slogan on the front, it could be a promotional shirt for the employees to wear. they are located in Southfield, MI 48075 according to the website. if that is where the OP is located then you have a starting point.

they maybe visiting another family however(or another family is visiting). there are 5 children in the sample pics. given the appearances and relative ages, if all the pics are within a smallish timeframe (based on timestamps) then 2 of the 5 are probably someone else's kids.

however if all the pictures are in the same time period, then they are likely local. the mother is wearing 2 different watches. since very few people bring 2 sets of jewelry on a vacation, she must have been at her own home. if not in the same time range, then all bets are off.

that's as sherlock holmesy as im willing to go on 3 pics.
