Found a 1910 penny today, which way do the heads and tails usually align on a penny?

It caught my eye in the register today because it had the words "one cent" on it which I know from experience is usually only on older US pennies. Not knowing US coins well though I thought the alignment of the heads and tails on the coin seemed odd, though it's probably correct.

Holding a penny between thumb and forefinger so that you are looking at the head of the president upright and your thumb and forefinger are on the top and bottom (North/South) turn the penny 180 degrees. Is the other face now upside down or upside right?

Kind of fun to have but worth nothing I know. I tried to collect one Canadian penny from every year a while back but was only able to get back to the 30s and 40s. I went to a coin collector and he said that you almost had to purchase coins much earlier than that because almost none were still in circulation. Think I'll keep it as a lucky penny :) (Not that I believe in superstitions)

I found an old Soviet ruble note.
Looks exactly like this one here:

It reads on the note in Estonian:
"Kõigi maade proletaarlased, ühinege!" "Workers of the world, unite!"
"Üks rubla" "One ruble"
Poor Estonian brothers had to go through the Soviet oppression. :(

Lots of memories involved with old currency.

Umm this isn't a girl but OK here are the pics:

When economic times are bad, more old coins find their way into circulation, so keep your eyes open.

The mother load of old coins for me was working in a bank. Not only was it great due to the volume of coins passing through but I used to volunteer to do the school deposit bags because the kiddies would get a hold of their parents coin collections and spend the money in the cafeteria.

I have friends who go to various banks to buy rolls of half-dollars hoping to find some silver ones. Last month one guy got 10 rolls and 4 were all silver - instant $400 profit. What kind of stuff did you find?

I've got tons of Mercury Dimes and a handful of the steel pennies as well as every penny from 1900 to present from every mint.

Nothing uncirculated Im too poor to get those but I like to collect

I received a $1 Silver Certificate in change a month or so back. Too bad they can't be redeemed for silver dollars any more.

I found an 1890 penny in my friend's yard when I was a kid. In the same spot I also found a 1942 silver dime and a few other less noteworthy coins. Still have them around here somewhere.
