FOSS Alternative to Reason?

Hey all!

At home I use a Toshiba laptop as a workstation, it dual boots Ubuntu and Windows 7. Ubuntu of course is faster, looks nicer, etc, but there's a hangup.
I'm a musician, and peripherals work awesomely well with Linux; better so than with Windows, actually. I have switched from Cubase to Audacity as a recording suite.

But does anyone here know of a (decent!) FOSS alternative to Reason Factory?
RF is a top-notch piece of software, and absolutely essential; I love working with it. I just don't like having to keep using Windows for one piece of software!

So please, suggestions?

I don't know what Reason Factory does, but you may find something of interest poking around here...

Follow the links around, and you may come across something. I've seen audio production tools I thought looked pretty good, but I didn't save them cause I'm not in the biz.
