I had a Xonar sound card with my last computer, but after my upgrade I am using onboard sound from my MSI. My Superlux 668B just doesn't sound as good with the onboard. So, I thought about getting a cheap $50ish DAC/AMP. I was looking at the FIIO E10K which everyone seems to recommend or the Fosi Audio Q4. Actually it seems the new one is the K4. I like that the Fosi has bass and treble controls on the front plus more inputs. Although I will probably only use USB from my computer. I use my headphones mainly for gaming and TV/Movies. Any reason to go with the FIIO over the FOSI?

I picked up a FiiO K5 Pro a couple of months ago. The newer model, K5 Pro ESS is supposed to be slightly better. (apparently the change happened because of a chip plant fire and the old chips were no longer available)

I drive a pair of beyerdynamic DT880 Pro 250 ohm headphones with it...and couldn't be happier. If you want to tweak the bass/treble, try the Peace Equalizer software.
