Looks like I chose wrong. Picked up a Range Rover in the AH for about $30k off the 'new price", a BMW X5 for almost $40k off, and a S660 SRT-10 pre painted for $112k and downgraded it to B500. I'm running MV between 1:44 & 1:46 in all of them. What's with the 900 hp missle builds?

i emptied my wallet and find myself in awe that even if i do nearly all engine upgrades the truck still won't be B600... and it has full aero!!

So, I'll probably be on tonight but I'm not sure if I'll be racing or not. I'm going out of town for a week this Saturday and I kinda want to play more MW2, we'll see though.

I'm not, but I want my fill of both! Remember, I got 2 weeks with Forza 3, I've had just over a week with MW2.

Yeah it was fun! Having a few more team members might be good though.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy driving your truck, Lotheron. Maybe next week we should do something a bit more lightweight.

Anyway, I guess we can consider last night to be my pick. I'll slot myself into the schedule accordingly:

- famous
- Hopeless
- Lotheron
- Queasy
- ItsaMamaLuigi
- Blowfish
- Kabob
- OneSkinneeJ
- tevolo
- Waldo
- QuikWgn

Is that the right spot? I thought this week was supposed to be Blowfish's pick but he didn't end up choosing anything, so I put myself right before him.

I haven't heard much from OSJ, blowfish, Arby, or Waldo lately, where are they at?

I'd have joined in last night but I got on late and didn't have any cars prepped (and I really wanted to play MW2).

Well if Blowfish doesn't respond then maybe you should just pick for next week, Kabob. Assuming you'll actually be around.

By the way, it seems famouswings, Lotheron, tevolo, and I have been showing up much earlier than 9 pm. I'm usually home by 6:30 and I usually like to pick my girlfriend up from her class at 10 (though I don't have to). We can still list 9 as the official start time, but there are usually people online preparing for an hour or two before that.

they were all on last week except OSJ but haven't seen them since. we had enough SUV (yes 2 races were enough) and robbed luca's night of SUV into an A class semi rocket car race.

I am still around. I just had no interest in driving trucks in a racing game so I just watched TV.

The Cayenne and the BMW actually handled pretty good @ B500. The SRT-10 I built, not so much. the car soccer was much fun though. Even being the ball was a hoot.

If you guys will be playing again next weekend around 10 cst (I get out of class at 9:30) I'll join in, MW2 has been consuming all of my XBox time and it's time to take a small break.

We need to do some testing for car soccer to see if a car with a lower center of gravity works better than the suv's. It was kind of hard moving the 'ball' with the SUV's. I think the Cayenne's they used in the vid I posted Were probably @ least an A600. Maybe something low and heavy, but fast like a SL65 Mercedes @ S700 or even the Veyron. Plus we need a 'ball car' set up for max weight reduction, race suspension so you can set it to full ride height, etc.

The Cayennes we used in the video were stock. The rabbit just had minimum weight and I think fully inflated tires. After doing more testing after the game in the video, we have found that the abarth 500 works better for a ball than the rabbit. But we are sticking with stock Cayennes for our games, it has the perfect balance of power and weight to be brutal in car soccer.

I suggest sticking with stock Cayennes just because it can be difficult to get enough organized people all with properly upgraded cars to play. Being able to just go and pick the vehicle out of the list even if you don't own one is pretty convenient for getting a game going quickly.

I didn't quit, I'm 500 miles away from my Xbox though. I'm visiting family in St. Louis and I'll be here until next Sunday, so I can't make a pick. Make another community pick.
