I have a problem forwarding ports on my server. I have other computers connect to the internet through it. I have a router pci card with four ethernet jacks, where i share the internet connection. I actual cable internet connection comes in to an onboard ethernet port. I chose "share internet connection" between them. But now, i need to forward some ports so apache and vnc work, but i'm clueless...any1 kno anything about this?

how about buy a router/firewall and have a worry free network. Generally servers are best left to be servers and routers left to be routers.

Gotcha. Carry on with your idiocy then. The problem is a poorly setup network trying to force a square peg into a round hole.
