Forwarding all hotmail messages...?

Getting rid of my 'spam the hell outte me' hotmail account but wanted to forward all my old emails to my new mailbox. is there a way to do this other than individually opening each old email and forwarding it?

Compose a new e-mail and attatch all the e-mails you want to save and send them to your new e-mail?
