forums running slow.. off and on this afternoon

what is wrong with the forums this afternoon? will run fine for few minutes then run real slow. been doing this for little while now. and yes i have the ads blocked and these blocked -http://dynamic1.anandtech.com/

Still slow here. It's not even that those servers are hanging up page loads - just clicking a link takes several seconds before it even starts loading the page.

Note: I have dynamic. and dynamic2.anandtech.com linked to loopback in my hosts file. I guess it's time to add dynamic1. as well. Those servers would always hang up page loads, sometimes to the point of timeouts.

It's on and off, but when it's slow it's REALLY slow.

Fine here in my university's lab (no adblock / hostfile modifications). Try disabling Kaspersky's email scanning and try surfing AT again to see if it improves browsing speed (if you have KAV installed).
