Whenever I use Opera and try to post or search in the forums, it'll just crash my DW modem. Of course, it works fine with IE...Any idea?

I'd suggest you go here and ask. Its where I go for my dway questions. What version of the directway system are you running? Have you updated the directway software to the most recent available?

For what its worth, I haven't had any trouble with any particular browser I've tried, including Opera. I also have never experienced a modem crash. Is this the only time the modem crashes? Is it possibly hardware related?

I've got the DW6000 modem, which I thought was supposed to automatically update its own firmware. But I have had tons of modem crashes, I use to have problems at NewEgg, for example, whenever I was searching or trying to view pictures of products. I've also have trouble attatching stuff to emails when in webmail. All with Opera, but since I've upgraded from 7.23 to 7.5 the only problem I've had is with the AT forums...If this posts, I guess telling Opera to identify as IE works.

...but it doesn't.

Opera 7.5 doesn't appear to work with AT forums, I've had to start using IE again just so I can frequent them. Not sure whether it's opera or the new board software, I hope it gets sorted though as I detest IE with a passion!!

Same with me. It's actually a combination of both, because I bet the board software (ugh I hate it, I'd rather have phpBB, IPB, or vB) is coded for IE, a lot of which is improper code that violates coding standards. Opera strictly adheres to the standards though, so a lot of code for IE screws up Opera.
