seems that this isn't normal. maybe it's high traffic maybe its not but i've never noticed this much traffic before on a saturday night...
 
This has been gone over quite a bit, there are issues with the database server, they will be sorted out very soon. Its pretty difficult to ship a server when everyone is on holiday guys/gals.
