I have a laptop that runs Vista, I use it more now that my desktop is down and I am noticing that the site is really slow in responding.
I don;t think its my internet connection because I can stream decent quality videos no problem, and some how load 2 minutes to load a thread.
Any reason for that ?

Thanks

If you happen to be using Kaspersky antivirus software on a 64-bit version of Vista, then this is a known issue which has been brought up to Kaspersky Lab, but not resolved.

If you do have Kaspersky, then as a test, right-click your red K icon in the system tray, choose Settings, go down to Traffic Monitoring, uncheck Port 80 in Port Settings, and see if the Forums are suddenly up-to-speed.

Not the case, thanks.

Did you try restarting IE? I can verify the slowness of AT, even on VU32. Not allowing KAV to filter 80 does speed things up though, at least on my machine. I'd also like some reason\speculation for why this happens only with AT.
