Hi,

With more and more users browsing the forums on mobile devices, and people not disabling the enabled-by-default signature on forum reading apps ("Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk..."), reading threads can get kind of annoying.

Maybe it's a minor gripe, but since users are notoriously non-compliant with requests to disable such signatures, would it be possible to block them server-side? I understand that administrators of vBulletin forums have this ability.

Obviously not a huge priority, but it would make the forums just a little bit cleaner.

We have the ability to censor certain strings of text, but it only gets replaced with asterisks. The tapatalk sigs are part of their post, so it's not something that is easily filtered out.

TapaTalk has a consistent format and string pattern up front

Detect that string and *** it to the end of the line

I have no knowledge of how to block the sigs server-side but I want to say that the members here have been completely and cheerfully compliant when requested to disable their Tapatalk sigs.
