Is there an official rules thread or document anywhere? I know these forums are pretty lenient, but it would be nice have at least some basic rules posted for ATOT and possibly the other categories (FS/FT has some apparently).

Those weren't forum rules, those were Terms and Conditions, aka legal crap. When I say rules, I mean like "no posting links to porn", or "no double posting", and forum etiquette. And I bumped this thread because I want some more feedback before suggesting it in the Forum Issues forum.

the rules are ad hoc

so people need to observe to figure it out

just by reading and lurking, you can learn valuable information that will enhance your AT experience.

Um, yes those are forum rules. Try reading it once. Let me post part of it here:

"You agree that you will not use our Forums to post any material, or links to any material, which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar..."

Notice the bold part. That means no posting links to porn; this is the thing you denied is in there. :roll: Forum etiquette is all there too.

A) As Dullard pointed out, if you follow what you agreed to, you should be fine.

B) It takes a bit of digging to find those "rules" other than when you first sign up for an account. My *opinion* is that they should be posted *somewhere*, not necessarily as a sticky in the top of this forum. Perhaps inside faq would be a great place.

C) This has been discussed previously, in forum issues, where such a thread would belong.
