forum rules

Well, one of the rules of the FS/FT forum is no price checks. I would assume that also applies to the other fourms, even though it's not clearly stated?
 
The problems with price checks:
Generally, not always, but generally, people doing price checks intend to sell things.
If they post a price check in the FS/T forum, you usually wind up with an auction - not allowed here.
If they post a price check elsewhere, it's essentially making a FS/T/auction post outside the FS/T forum - also not allowed.
So, they had to ban price checks entirely.

It might be nice to have this stated clearly somewhere so GH vigilantes and search nazis can point people to it 🙂

Same for posts requesting warez links, and asking for assistance with using warez -- I assume both are not allowed, but couldn't point a warez poster to anything specifically saying so.
