Forum laggy

This has been going on for at least a few months, occasionally certain links, and only certain links, will not load. It acts like its trying to load something but nothing happens. Ex: trying to open a specific thread, or replying to a specific thread. Sometimes even loading a forum. Usually have to wait and try later. Anyone else get this randomly?

Are you using a proxy/VPN? Doubtful but worth asking.

No problems here whether I access directly or using my VPN.

Nope just straight connection, and every other site is fine but this one. In fact to open this thread it sat at "Connecting to" for about 40 seconds, I had another page loading off this site, and the first top part loaded then stopped. During that time I was able to check Facebook and a few other forums.

No other traffic going on either, I usually open the traffic graph in pfsense to confirm that I don't have a backup job running or something.

This has started happening to me now. It keeps waiting for yui.yahooapis.com and freezes up the tab until I refresh it a few times.

Obviously the Canadian ISP's are using sub-standard squirrels to power their internets. No offense.

Hmm I wonder if that's what it is. It always says "waiting for forums.anandtech.com" though but maybe in the background it's actually that. I too find that hitting refresh a bunch of times eventually loads the page.
