Forum header issues...

For some reason, when I log in, I cannot see the text next to the PM indicator icon, next to the forum polls icon and the Anandtech logo is simply an outline with no black coloring in the lettering anywhere. It looks as if somehow the font for that area got set to white somehow and I cannot get it set back. I've tried purging all of my temp internet files and cookies, paying close attention to CSS files and such, but no luck. I've played with all the customization settings and I can use different forum color schemes but the header area is always displayed in white font it looks like. When I'm not logged in, everything displays properly but when I log in it has this display problem. How can I fix this?

Your color preferences may be wrong. Check the profile page customizations.

I just set mine to the "Cool Blue" theme, and it does what you're describing. But if you change the "Background Shade" to light, it fixes it. It'd be nice if that was part of the theme settings, or automatically defined when you choose a color.
