My dad has a website dedicated to his class of '69 high school mates. He has a simple Frontpage forum where a guest can post a message without having to register and without having to click on more than one link to read the messages. I've evaluated multiple PHP forums such as SMF, miniBB, phpBB, etc. But none of them suit his taste of simplicity. Is there a PHP forum that I can install on his site that is as simple as a guestbook script, but allows multi-level threads?

Set up phpBB for him but allow anonymous access and create only one forum so there isn't confusion.

Let's see sounds like Dad is around 56-58 years of age and you're calling this post a forum for OLD people, LMAO. I bet your Dad would jump on you for that.

and create only one forum so there isn't confusion.

LMAO, hell my father is 70 years old and you call him old he won't be happy, he's actually in better shape then most people half his age and good with a computer.

So show Dad PhpBB ---> http://www.phpbb.com/ and give the OLD guy a HAND!

OLD is a state of mind! ;)

I graduated in 1952 and didn't think I was old until I read the OP's post. :(
