Forum Delay

Every time I visit this forum now, there's a delay before it loads,
Twice now in the past week I've had to install macromedia something or other if I want to visit the site.
There's a nice little animation playing at the top of the screen,
I wonder, is this anything to do with the delay???

I don't even have flash installed in FF & it isn't asking me to install anything.
I don't see any animations either though,... or ads or anything else 😉


edit - in FF i guess it does say "additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page" but everythings working fine.

I do believe there's still some overhead from the DDoS crap (it's calmed down a bit, but it doesn't appear to be settled 100%). That's most likely the pause you're seeing.

It's asked me twice for flash 7 and 8 I think.
It's at the top of the page!!!! (well mine anyway) 😀
Something to do with Gigabyte technology, don't think it used to be there 😕
