Well once and awhile it slows down a tad, trying to find out why, if its just usage thats fine, there are about 1000 users on at any given time during these times.

Its been seriously lagging at certain times, then fast a couple seconds later. I can live with it but this seems kinda new.

It was dead slow for me most of today. Traceroutes from home and work (same network as Anandtech) showed no lags, nor did non-biased traceroutes. Pings were normal. I noticed it from about 2pm today until about 10pm.

Zuni, So far I have not seen any errors or slowdowns while reading, posting or editing profile or anywhere else. All seems to be working just fine on this end so far with the Beta. If I do see something I will for sure let you know.

I have to agree with everything reitz said.

Traceroute showed no problems for me, and my ping to the forums avgerages around 20ms.

On 768 SDSL, for most of yesterday I though I was on a 28.8 connection.

It all seems great today though.

Nice work Zuni.

I just got one posting to Im Jonsin for... in the Distributed computing fourm. its 9:59am PST hopfully this will help you track it down, it was like the server was lagging the page took about 5 seconds to reload.

also when I log it it does not automaticly go back from the "you have successfully..." screen I have to click the link.

It seems to me that sometimes the ads come up very slow.

What it looks like to me is that when you load the page, the ad tries to come up first. If the ad server is slow and the add doesn't come up in about 5 seconds, then the rest of the page is loaded. This makes it seems like there is a 5 second lag sometimes. This happens at school when I am on whatever broadband connection they have there and on my DSL or even 56k modem.
