As we announced, last week, if your registered email address is still @home, you can log in, but you will not be able to post.

You CAN still access your profile to update your email address. Once you do, you will be able to continue posting.

A new random password will be sent to the address you provide, so please be very careful you enter a valid address. If the address you enter is invalid, you will effectively ban yourself until it gets straightened out. Our email is so backed up that this could take a long time.

Thank you,

I miss @home and my 3mb/s connection - stupid Charter Nazis told me "I'd stay at the same speed and the price would remain the same as well" after the conversion.

Unfortunately my speed was dropped to 1.5mb and calling them gets me nowhere - they now deny that they ever said that.

that conversion was great, i wont at a telemarketing place we did the conversions for alot of customers, i made 20-30$ a night. most of the sales reps were kinda clueless since this was happenening fast. were independent from charter, we didnt know what speed you guys were getting, most arears charter dosent even have 1.5mb/sec speed.

I would update my comcast info but I dropped them like a fat man leaving a turd in a public restroom.

Their service sucks, their customer support sucks, and I moved to a college town with better options ;)

What does it matter what they say? If you didn't get it in writing, there's nothing you can do. And besides, dude, 3m/sec is outrageous. You were very lucky to get that to begin with ;) Most everybody now is getting caped so everyone can get a stable connection. Reason being that some people (like yourself) were pulling down 3m/sec and the guy next door (who was on the same node) was only getting 100kbps. Now it's more mainstream across the board.

done a while ago but I miss my fast connection too, 1.5 is just too slow when you are used 2-3 which is crazy fast and super nice
