forum and search history won't clear in firefox

I dont get it. All you have to do is go to tools, clear recent history, and im checking everything and selecting everything as a time period.

It clears all my history but if i go to a search field or go to sign in on facebook or gmail, theres still stuff there..........

using 3.5.7 in windows 7 btw, am i missing something?
