Well the top 10 list that I found was from 2003. Smuckers is #1 this year and I know that Adobe is #6. I was wondering if anyone had the full list.

Unfortunately, Forture doesn't take into account the hundreds of great public universities around the nation that likely offer much more relaxed working environments than Adobe, Smuckers, etc. Hell, if I were in the IT industry (which I'm not), a public university position would be MUCH more attractive to me than a private-sector one, even if it paid less.

Hey - I can second that. While i don't work for a public university, I do work for a public K-12 school district (through another cooperative state organiation called BOCES, but I digress). They pay is below private industry, but the atmosphere, benefits, and 39-hour salaried work week with hourly overtime past 40 (best of both worlds! :) ) is pretty cool!

Have to be a bit smarter than the average geek, I suppose. Look here (address for the .PDF file found on the Fortune site within a minute or so), select "View as HTML".

This would be the 2004 listing, as the .PDF file name suggests.

Hmm, disappointed we're only #46.

I didn't think the Top 10 was anything to write home about. I knew more after the Top 10.

Most browsers offer font resizing, or a simple zoom feature (Opera, FireFox, and even Internet Explorer offer at least one the aforementioned options).
