The Fortron/Source Group is the umbellar coporation of Sparkle.

They used to sell to resellers only, but some of their distributor are now selling single unit by mail, but the price is somewhat higher than the retail SPI. They have a good reputation for quality and recently warned their customers about fake Fortron PS on the market.

The Sparkle is the retail distribution arm of Fortron/Source.

The SPI units are widely available from many retail and mailing order vendors.

PC Power and Cooling does not manufacture their own PS. Fortron/Source is one of their supplier. At one time, the TurboCool 300 and the Silencer 270 are identical except the fan, and was made by SPI.

Sparkle Power power supplies are very good. Although Enermax seems to be better as they are designed to satisfy computer enthusiasts like us.

While Enermax is my personal favorite, the Fortron/Source is a very nice unit. Their FSP300-60GN is among the supplies I have on my test bench. It is identical to a PC Power & Cooling 300W Turbo Cool that I also have on the bench.
