I think a 300W Fortron will be enough, becuase you don't have a power-hungry video card or CPU. Go for a Fortron model with the single, slow-spinning 120mm fan. They are very quiet and would be a good choice IMO. I have one in one of my rigs, I am more than happy with it becuase it is quiet.
I agree that Fortron Source/Sparkle make very good power supplies. Even though for my new system build I was prodded to go with a SeaSonic S-12 series power supplyk I went with this
Fortron AX-500A Blue Storm P/S. The fact that the Fortron showed well at these reviews at
SilentPCReview and
Tom's Hardware surely helped me make my decision.
You may want to consider something like this
$50.48 DELIVERED Forton 350W FSP350-60PN-R1 P/S. Noe that it has a
SINGLE 120mm fan with an adjustable speed control for the fan and the
"ez-grip" molex connectors. It is rated at 16A total on the 12V rail which is a little less than I'd like to see but if it is not an inflated figure (like so many P/S companies tend to do) then it should suffice.
If that option is too expensive for your tastes you may want to consider this
$36.99 DELIVERED Fortron P300-60PN-R 300W Power Suppy. Note that it too has a SINGLE 120mm fan (non-adjustable) and the "ez-grip" molex connectors. It is rated at 15A on the 12V rail. If you look at this package it appears to be quite a sweat deal.
Bear in mind that at this price point neither of the two P/S will have ACTIVE PFC. In fact they're listed as having no PFC but I'm sure they are equipped with PASSIVE PFC. Also, each of these Power Supplies have the standard 20 pin power connector, not the newer 24 pin connector; if your mobo does not require a 24 pin connector than you are in business !
Best of luck to you !
