This is a system on a very tight budget. Also, this isn't going to be overclocked or anything, just upgrading the wife's system for WoW. Anyone forsee any problems with this setup?

Looks like a solid budget system, though if its meant to be a potential gaming rig, I'd try to pick up a better vid card. Look around for a good deal.

I'd be worried about the vid card for gaming but all esle should be fine. Maybe a 9600 pro could be found.

if it's only for w.o.w. it should work well enough but what exactly is your budget and what are you paying for those parts?

The thing is, everything is already bought. I'm just waiting on the Memory/MBD/CPU to come in the mail. I was making sure that I didn't overlook something, or shot myself in the foot.

As for the video card? Yeah I know it might need upgraded at some point. Older Single player games, and then World of WarCraft are the only things its used for.

About $350 total for the Case, CPU/MBD, and Memory.

well, you can get the 2800+athalon for only $1 more, then oc it to 3100+ speeds so it'll run 64bit when it come out in a couple years.

the a64 2800+ also has more cache, runs at the same frequency. it's almost always a better buy.

Thank you for your suggestions, but I was more making sure, I wasn't missing something important, than the chance of overclocking something.

LOL, yeah I have 2 floppy drives and a box of disks, just in case.
