Formula To Determine Num Days In Month / 1st Day Of Week Based On Year / Month?

Is there some kinda formula I can use to determine the number of days in a month ( cause Jan changes ) and what day of the week teh 1st lands on ( Mon, Tues, Wed, etc. ) for a given month and given year?

January doesn't change, February does.

The days of the week calendar rotates every seven years. So if you have an older 1996 calendar out there you can reuse it for 2003...
