Formula E will race in Brooklyn in 2017

Formula E is coming to the New York area in 2017. Electric car racing battery technology etc, hopefully will have lot of trickle down to regular E cars. They tried Formula 2 (Smaller F1?) in Washing DC down at RFK stadium but it was way to laud and the residents kicked them out. This looks interesting not necessarily the racing but the invitation and technology going into it.
