c'mon, where are you F1 fans?

I'm quite certain there's a longer one of the first one of just the modern F1

I've also seen an F1 hillclimb before, but I just can't find it.

Those early/mid 90's Ferrari V12's revving to ~12-14k were the best sounding F1 engines to my ears, they just howled. At 19k RPM, it's gotten to the point that it almost doesn't sound like an IC engine any more.

That was back when teams were running V8's, V10's, V12's all on the same grid, and you could identify cars by sound, and that Ferrari sounded awesome compared to everything else. Too bad the car sucked balls -- I guess that's why it didn't make it into this commercial.

Such a badass Shell commercial, I'm gonna buy some Shell gas now! They were successful.

The Shell commercial was amazing. Thank you for posting it.

And no engine sound thread is complete without a little Group B / rally lovin (sorry if it doesn't fit your original request, but it's good stuff IMO)
