I think I did 2 years. It was worth it, because the forums were hideously slow.

I'd pay not to see ads.
 
I still can't believe they got rid of the subscriber model.

actually, the speed ended up being the same for the regular users. and the other two are attainable pretty easily.

I subscribed and was only recently logged out of the subscriber server. Paid for a year, got an additional year or so free! 😀

The speed increase for me was noticable. Another reason besides the ads i subscribed, was that i wanted to support these forums.

I'd be happy if they even offered something on the same servers but with no ads, header, etc. I have that firefox thing for it that notfred posted, but I like opera more 😀

I bought my subscription the november after it came out and had it for two years, continuing after new subscriber registrations had been disabled. God I loved subscriptions.
