No, just go into your profile and make the necessary change to e-mail, you will then be sent a NEW password & need to log in again with the new one, otherwise it will seem you are locked out.

BTW make sure you don't use a banned e-mail address, check the forum FAQ for the list.
 
thank you, now I just need to find out who will be the new IPS. I'm afraid it's going to bre a while till they get around to setting up something new out here in the wilderness of Montana.
