Formatting on a dual boot OS..

hi there.. I am currently running a dual boot OS
C: Winme
D: Win2k
is it possible for me to reformat my C: hard drive and reinstall Win9x again?
Has anyone done this before? Will the dual boot still work normally after I install C: drive again?
thanks

once you format the c: drive the dual boot will not work because all the boot up files will no longer exist.

thanks..
Than is they a way for me to back-up the boot files?
can I reformat the hard drives, and make C: all boot files, D:winme, E: win2k? will that solve my problem?
