Formatted my Hdd now I need to...

while I installing windows2000 server I asked my wife to select the d drive as the location to install (while I was in the can) but she put it on the c drive and let it reformat the c drive :| now I lost all my documents. Is there a way to get back those files? All drives are formatted using ntfs will Ghost or Powerquest Lost & Found get this info back?

Its important that you don't mess around anymore with the formatted harddrive. Otherwise you'll have a hard time recovering files.

Btw i recommend the following app R-Studio if you want to recover your files..

Man, thats gotta suck, probably last time the wife does something important for you on the computer. Anyways there is the software route and there is also a place that can retrieve your data for a small fortune which I can't remember the name of. Anyways, here's a good luck bump!

I really don't think Best Buy B&M is going to be selling this type of software. The only place you could possibly get it would be strictly software store or a local computer shop who could order it. You will probably save a lot more money buying it off the internet although you probably need it right now🙁. Put up a WTB post on For Sale/Trade forum and see if anyone has some of that software.
