I have two hard drives, primary [c: and e:] and secondary [d:,f: and g:]

If I boot from floppy into DOS and tell it to FORMAT c: drive will it only format the partition c: or will it format the entire hard drive, c: and e:?

Would I be better off using my MAXTOR disc to reformat the entire hard drive and re-partition it back into two drives? Then reinstall windows? This is what I?ve typically done in the past.

Thanks for any help.

If DOS sees all the partitions (c,d,e,f,g) and you type format C: then d,e,f,g will be okay.
