Format Linux from within linux

I would like to delete linux, and install freebsd. The cd rom wont autoboot since i installed linux, so how do I format the hard drive so i can delete linux?

Wish people wouldn't post multiple threads. Or if you absolutely must, go into the others and post when you've fixed it.

I think if your problem is solved you should let people know it has been solved in the title. Of course, many times when people do this they delete the original title which makes it useless for people that are searching for answers...
