Format FAT32 in Linux

Is there a utility that will let me hook up a harddrive to my linux box and format a bootable FAT32 partition...i.e. I could format it and use it to boot to dos?

mkdosfs will format as FAT, you can set it active. I think you need to run sys from a real dos prompt to make it bootable though.
