Hey everyone,

I have to format my resume in .txt format with the following critera:

*******

Do not use tabs, bold, italics, underlining, or other formatting commands. You may use capital letters, spaces, or any of the characters on your keyboard.

Use asterisks (*) instead of bullets.

Left-align your text.

*******

Basically right now it is a Word .doc document and is spaced very nicely and very clean with bullets and other stuff. I am planning on just typing it all up again in wordpad or something, but any converters that i can use? Thank in advance to anyone that can helpout.

i just copy, paste, and then do hand formatting. it's really the only way you can make sure that there are no mistakes that were made in conversion.

Yep, select all, copy, paste into Notepad or Wordpad.

If you use Wordpad be careful since its native format is _rich text_ not plain text. You'll need to save as .txt not .rtf/.doc, and open it in Notepad as a final check.
