Seriously, as a system admin., I've blown away users who haven't accessed the system in the past 6 months for one of the applications that I support. I guess they could put some kind of statement in the rules of this site to state that "Accounts not accessed in the last 90 days will be deleted".

The reason for some of those inactive members is that they simply have signed up to reply to only a couple of posts. In the long run though, their help could really be valuable. Not everybody with an account hangs around all day doing nothing.
